Every track is scored against the files VirtualDJ already knows about. Confident matches (≥ 80%) auto-select; medium-confidence rows are flagged for review. Audition inline before exporting.

The Spotify source URL is embedded as infosource on every entry — right-click any track in VirtualDJ and open the original page in your browser. Yes. Music Library Doctor writes a new .vdjfolder alongside your existing files. database.xml, Favorite Folders, MyLists — all untouched.
Under your VirtualDJ home, in Folders/<crate name>.vdjfolder. If you didn't set the VirtualDJ path in Settings, Music Library Doctor auto-detects the standard ~/Library/Application Support/VirtualDJ/ (macOS) or %USERPROFILE%/Documents/VirtualDJ/ (Windows) and writes there.
They land in VirtualDJ as "file not found" placeholders. The Fix & Upgrade All button on the main view finds each missing track on YouTube Music and adds it to your library automatically — Pro feature.
Title and artist are scored separately; title weighted heavier. Real-world false-positive cases are pinned to tests so they don't come back. In practice ~85–95% of Spotify tracks land as ≥ 80% confidence on a well-organised DJ library.
